OVERVIEW

BS Cyber Security is a 4-year degree program at the Department of Emerging Computing Technologies, Emerson University, Multan that focusing on protecting computer systems and networks from cyber threats. It covers cryptography, network security, threat analysis, and incident response. Students learn programming languages like C, Python, and Java. Topics include: Network security and architecture, Operating system security, Cloud security, Ethical hacking and penetration testing, Cyber law and ethics. Graduates pursue careers as cybersecurity specialists, information security analysts, and penetration testers. The program prepares students for industry certifications like CompTIA Security+ and CISSP.

Gaining the practical experience by utilizing the security tools, conducting vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing, and simulating attack scenarios, and to foster a culture of ensure compliance with data protection regulations and laws.

PEO-3

The program seeks to produce well-prepared cybersecurity under-graduates who in their careers exhibit high standards of responsibility, and ethics along with effective presentation and communication skills.

Design and Development of Solutions

Design and evaluate solutions for complex security problems, and design and evaluate systems, components, or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

Create, select, adapt, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern cybersecurity tools to secure networks, monitor threats, and protect sensitive data.
