GERENAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

The general eligibility criteria for all admissions to BS, MA/M.Sc, MS/M.Phil, Ph.D, or equivalent programs are as follows. Please note that specific eligibility criteria for each program can be visit on the relevant Departmental Page.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ASSOCIATE DEGREE PROGRAM, BS OR EQUIVALENT.-

The candidates holding FA/F.Sc or equivalent qualification with minimum 45% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply. The age of candidate should not be more than 24 years for admission in BS/ or equivalent.

ELIGIBILITY FOR BS 5TH SEMESTER OR EQUIVALENT.-

The candidates holding Associate Degree or B.A/B.Sc (14- Years of Education) or equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply. The age of candidate should not be more than 26 years for admission to BS 5th Semester orequivalent.

ELIGIBILITY FOR MS/M.PHIL/MSBA OR EQUIVALENT.-

  • The candidates having 16 years of education (BS/ MA/ M.Sc or equivalent) with 2.50/4.00 CGPA in case of semester system of examination or minimum 2nd division in case of annual system of examination are eligible to apply for admission to MS/M.Phil/MSBA or equivalent.
  • The age of candidate should not be more than 40 years for morning programs, 50 years for evening/self-support programs and 60 years for weekend programs to secure admission to MS/M.Phil/MSBA or equivalent programs.
  • The candidates seeking admission to MS/M.Phil/MSBA or equivalent Program shall have to qualify the entry test as prescribed by the concerned department/institute/center/college by securing 60% or more than 60% marks there in prior to admission. GAT (General) shall also be acceptable for admission in lieu of departmental test, however, the candidate has to submit the result of GAT (General) at the time of submission of application for admission. The passing marks for GAT (General) are 50% or more.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PH.D.-

  • The candidates having 18 years of education (MS/M.Phil./MSBA or equivalent) with 3.50/4.00 CGPA in case of semester system of examination or minimum 1st division in case of annual system of examination are eligible to apply for admission to PhD or equivalent.
  • The candidates seeking admission to PhD or equivalent Program shall have to qualify the entry test as prescribed by the concerned department/institute/center/college by securing 70% or more than 70% marks there in prior to admission. GAT (Subject) shall also be acceptable for admission in lieu of departmental test, however, the candidate has to submit the result of GAT (Subject) at the time of submission of application for admission. The passing marks for GAT (Subject) are 60% or more for admission.
